Over two exceptional days in Paris, we had the privilege of bringing together leading international experts in inflammatory bowel diseases to discuss some of the most important challenges and innovations shaping our field.

From disease pathogenesis to nutrition, microbiota, treatment sequencing, intestinal ultrasound, endoscopy, clinical trials, sustainability and precision medicine, the breadth and quality of the discussions were truly remarkable.

A heartfelt thank you to all faculty members for sharing their expertise, experience and vision: David Rubin, Jean-Frederic Colombel, Iris Dotan, Harry Sokol, Eugene B. Chang, Ana Gutiérrez, David Laharie, Mariangela Allocca, Vipul Jairath, Axel Dignass, Silvio Danese, Yves Panis, Alessandro Armuzzi, Mathurin Fumery, Lucine Vuitton and Julien Kirchgesner

This meeting continues to demonstrate the value of international collaboration between clinicians, researchers, surgeons, nurses, industry partners and patient advocates, all united by a common goal: improving the lives of patients living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

A special thank you to our partners and sponsors whose support made this event possible:

Iterative Health, Johnson & Johnson, AbbVie, Abivax and Dr. Falk Pharma, as well as all exhibiting partners and academic organizations supporting education, innovation and research in IBD.

Finally, my sincere gratitude to David Rubin, the University of Chicago team, the Paris IBD Center team, the Institut des MICI, the Groupe Hospitalier Ambroise Paré–Hartmann, our moderators, organizers and all participants for their enthusiasm and commitment.

We are already looking forward to the next edition.

Yoram Bouhnik.
